What is a mole?
A mole (Talpa Europea) is a small mammal which lives in an underground tunnel system, using the tunnels to hunt its prey. Moles are found throughout the British Isles but not Ireland.
What is affected by moles and what are the symptoms?
Moles can affect gardens, golf courses, fields and pretty much anywhere soil is found. Their presence is evident by noticeable unsightly mounds of soil known as ‘mole hills.’
